This game is not overly difficult, and personally I would recommend Normal to begin as it will better prepare you for the Hard playthrough. Hard is locked, and completing the game on either Easy or Normal will unlock it. Start off the game on either Easy or Normal. Please refer to this LINK for the Supplemental, courtesy of WickedNite. While the Trophy Guide will give some basic strategies, I will not go into the depth of the Supplemental. There is also a Supplemental Guide on this site that provides some excellent tips for the main enemy types. Please refer to this LINK for the Supplemental guide. This is the only guide I am aware of that tracks all collectibles in the order that you can find them.
All Dog Tags, Mutagens, Wolverine Figures, and Health Boosts are listed, with instructions on how to find them. I have prepared a text based Supplemental that can be used to track the Collectibles. There is also notes made for the miscellaneous trophies, so I would highly recommend referencing it during your first playthrough. This includes detailed tracking the the in-game collectible dog tags, mutagens and optional health upgrades. This guide is very well done, with excellent text based descriptions and supportive video. There is a fantastic walkthrough for this game on Mahalo, which can be found at the following LINK Cheats must be reactivated using this method each and every time the game is launched from the XMB. While I can personally confirm that the above method will work, you should use at your own risk.Īs a final note, once activated by the above method, the Cheat will remain in effect until you close the game. If you do trigger an auto-save point with the cheat enabled before quitting to the main menu, you will permanently lock that save from trophy progress.
If you do intend to use Cheats, I would recommend activating them right after a checkpoint so that you don't accidentally trigger a save with the Cheat registered, and back up your save prior to attempting them, just in case something goes wrong. The game is not so difficult that it requires Cheats, but certainly the extra Reflex Gain will cut your grinding time, and the Never Die and Infinite Rage can make your Hard playthrough much easier. The Cheat will still be active, but the game will re-enable trophy earning. After entering the Cheat, immediately quit to the main menu, then select continue. If done correctly, you will hear a chime after entering the sequence.Īctivating a cheat will disable any trophy progress from that point forward.
